OUTPOSTERS is a third-person zombie shooter with rogue-lite runs for 1 to 4 players. You play solo or in online co-op through Steam. Every run takes place at night in a city overrun by zombies, and your team holds one fortified base. If its Brain core is destroyed, the run is over.
Zombies come in waves and go for both the players and the base. Between waves there is a short break to search the city for weapons, download a base upgrade from a laptop and get back before the next wave starts. Around 40 weapons, melee included, come from the same world loot for everyone.
A boss shows up every fourth wave: The Matriarch, Mrs. Fabulous, The Crossing Guard and, at wave 16, The Doorman. Beating a mid-boss evolves one of your operator's three abilities for the rest of the run. After the last boss you can keep holding the base in the Endless Siege, which has Steam leaderboards. Five difficulties, from Normal up to Apocalypse, and optional curses decide how hard a run gets.
OUTPOSTERS is made in Unity 6 by Capuchin Games, a one-person studio. It is fully translated into 10 languages.

How a run goesBir tur nasıl geçer
- 1 to 4 players Online co-op over Steam. A downed player can be picked back up, so nobody sits out the rest of the run. Solo runs can be saved between waves.
- Defend the base Zombies go for the base as well as for you. If it falls, the run is over. Download base upgrades from the laptop between waves.
- Loot the city Around 40 weapons, melee included. Guns you find on the ground come loaded, and pistols pair up so you can carry one in each hand.
- Five operators Each one has three abilities. Beat a mid-boss and one of them evolves for the rest of the run. Every ability has two paths.
- A boss every 4 waves Sixteen waves and four bosses. The longer a boss stays alive, the harder it hits the base.
- Endless Siege Beat the last boss and you can keep holding the base. The waves keep getting stronger, and your score goes on the Steam leaderboard.
- Difficulty and curses Five difficulties, from Normal up to Apocalypse. Curses like No Meds or Glass Base make a run harder and raise the rewards.
- Weapon mastery Hits and kills level up that weapon's class for good. At level 3 you can start your runs with a weapon from that class.
